Privacy Policy

Push of Love is published by High Altitude Code, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Push of Love apps for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, the home screen widget, and pushoflove.com. We don't have accounts, we don't show ads, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising.
What we collect
- An anonymous identifier. The app creates a random ID on your device the first time you like a push. When you like or unlike a push, the app sends that ID and the push's ID to our server so we can count likes. The ID isn't connected to your name, email or Apple account. The website does the same thing with a cookie.
- Push notification data. We deliver notifications through OneSignal. When you allow notifications, OneSignal receives your device's push token and basic device information (such as device model, operating system version, language, time zone and app version) so it can deliver pushes and tell us whether they were delivered or opened.
- Website analytics. pushoflove.com may use Google Analytics to count visits. The apps don't include any analytics.
- Server logs. Like most websites and APIs, our servers and hosting providers (Heroku and Cloudflare) briefly record IP addresses and request details to run and protect the service.
What stays on your device
The app keeps a copy of recent pushes, which ones you liked, and whether you've answered the notification prompt, so it works offline. The widget and Apple Watch app keep the latest push. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
How we use it
Only to send you pushes, show like counts, and keep the service running. We don't use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Your choices
- Turn notifications off any time in iOS Settings > Notifications > Push of Love.
- Delete the app to remove its data from your device.
- Email [email protected] to ask what we hold or to have it deleted.
Children
Push of Love isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date.
